Assignment # 1
"What exactly is a blog?" Some people call it an 'online journal', others may see it as a window into the life of someone we haven't (and, perhaps, never will) meet.

For a couple years ago we never thought about blogging, did we even know what it was? Not really, it was the time when we did not were so anxious to publish our lives for everyone. The time has changed and people who are blogging keep on rising and nearly everyone have some kind of blog or things like facebook. “What exactly is a blog?” Is hardly an impossible question to answer, it depends on from person to person. Some people use it as a diary, other to discuss politics, fashionblogs are one sort of blog that have become very popular, or as in my situation I use a blog to do my homework.
I see a blog as some kind of diary, where you write and make people aware about what you have done today, what you are going to do tomorrow etc. The main difference between a diary than a blog, is that a blog is more impersonal than a diary, since that fact that everyone can read it. The last told are one of the reasons why I am not blogging. I don not feel it necessary to let everyone know who my life is going on. Those who I want to know about my life, I tell them, not trough a blog, but in a more personally way. However blogs feel sometime a bit to personally, but it still make you be known in an impersonally way. Do not think that anyone can agree that you learn to know people trough a computer screen, moreover where it is a one way communication.
In my point of view, mostly who are blogging doing it to make people around them kind of jealous that you as a blogger have s interested life. It feels like people who blogging are doing it to show us that they have a busy life, hardly a packed schedule. Or curiosity about other lives make us to follow blogs, think or curiosity is one reason to blogging have become so popular.
Even I follow some blogs, some of my friends, it have sadly, became a way to get apprehension of what is going on at home when I am here in Stockholm. One more reason to why I am not use a blog, I want to keep contact with my friends in a more personally way, like a phone call or something like that. But to read a blog goes fast and are comfortable which make some of the phone calls not be called.
